A director, producer,
cameraman and editor for the last 12 years, Rob Tate’s work includes
the independent films, Neptune’s
Rocking Horse, Miss Monday
(Sundance, ’98 – Special Jury Prize, Andrea Hart, actress), American Desi, Way Off-Broadway (IFP, 2001, Stony
Brook Audience Award, Best Feature), and West Bank Brooklyn (AFI, 2002) among
others.
He was Senior Producer and Editor of the Sundance Channel’s critically
acclaimed documentary series, Architecture
School, which is one of Time Magazine’s Top Ten TV series of
2008. He’s been nominated for two Emmy Awards for his work as Producer
and Editor of the PBS series, Gourmet’s
Diary of a Foodie, for which he also won the NY Festivals
Broadcast TV Silver Award for Best Documentary Editing.
Other television work includes MTV’s Boiling
Points, While You Were Out (BBC), Project Jay (Bravo/Miramax), and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
(Travel Channel).
